The Growth.Insure Journey: Empowering Insurance Agencies Since 2006

Since 2006, the Growth.Insure team has been dedicated to supporting insurance agents across the United States. Over the years, we've witnessed—and been part of—the significant transformation in how insurance agencies operate, especially in response to evolving technology and operational challenges.

In the early 2010s, many insurance agencies were still operating almost entirely on manual processes. Offices ran on paper-based workflows, with minimal use of digital tools. Most agents were not tech-savvy, largely because insurance carriers themselves were slow to embrace modern technologies and the internet.

At that time, Growth.Insure began offering remote support to agencies using remote desktop technologies. It was a challenging endeavor—many agents didn’t even have servers, proper data storage, or modern computers in their offices. Our remote staff mainly focused on data entry, inputting information into carrier websites based on handwritten notes about customers or properties.

As the industry gradually began embracing technology, we saw the introduction of the first web-based rating portals. Agents started creating their own websites and began actively using tools like Microsoft Office. Our remote team evolved as well, receiving training on these new platforms and developing a deeper understanding of underwriting rules and coverage options.

What began as simple data entry soon transformed into meaningful back-office support. Agents started delegating more complex quoting and administrative tasks to our remote team. This led us to develop a dedicated task exchange portal, enabling agents to seamlessly assign quotes and service requests. We called this system BackOffice4Agency.

This platform allowed agents to submit tasks into a centralized queue, where our team handled them on a first-come, first-served basis. Between 2013 and 2018, more agents began recognizing the value of remote support as an essential element of business growth.

Then came the COVID-19 pandemic—a turning point for remote work across every industry, including insurance. Agencies were forced to adapt quickly to remote operations. This period popularized the term "Virtual Assistant" (VA), although the role often lacked the comprehensive support agencies needed. Front-desk roles disappeared overnight, and VAs were not always equipped to handle the full range of back-office tasks. That’s where Growth.Insure truly made a difference.

We stepped in to provide end-to-end back-office services for insurance agencies—from quoting new business to policy maintenance, billing, and beyond. As the industry's needs grew, so did our capabilities. We accelerated our technology integration, connecting our platform with numerous industry tools and systems.

Today, our services represent a state-of-the-art, professional, and measurable back-office solution, powered by a robust workflow platform. We’re proud to continue enabling insurance agencies to scale efficiently, serve clients better, and focus on growth—leaving the back-office to us.
