If you are an agency that uses Hawksoft as your Agency Management System, I can promise you that they know Hawksoft better than you do because their Team Lead has been with Hawksoft for nearly two decades.
They also know how to quote with all the major carriers in the country, do territory, MVR, credit checks and are very familiar with the top Rater programs. As far as back office, they keep us so well organized that I don’t think we have ever been this caught up in the history of our agency (going on 60 years in our family business, currently under 3rd generation management). They make sure that every single voicemail, text message and email is in our AMS and assigned to a CSR or licensed agent with an alert. But the biggest bonus is that our sales actually tripled the first month they were with us. Why? Because they basically act like our “quoting machine”. They prep each and every rewrite quote, prospect quote, cross-sell quote, remarket quote, you name it and since they prep so much volume of quoting for us, then our producers are basically given the quote as 80% done (going with our pre-built rules) and it’s ready for the auditing, tweaking and presentation to the client or prospect.
I will say that we may be a little ahead of the game as being an agency that is already immersed in the “paperless, remote-team-members in different locations” world, and we all know how to communicate all day long via chat, email and screensharing. However, they adapted to our workflow and agency culture faster than I expected because they are already pros with the systems and are basically pioneers of the VA Backoffice-industry since they have been at it for longer than I can even remember hearing the term “VA”. They also know how to proactively offer advice on process flows and streamlining. We have only been with them for two months, and the stress level within the agency has decreased dramatically during one of the toughest markets in the insurance industry.
